Job Title: Project Manager

City:Albion State: ILLINOIS                                                  


 

Job Purpose: Coordinate and optimize the Change Management Process for specific business needs, such as product design changes, new design launches, and bill-of-material updates. Drive the goals and desired outcome of the Change Management Process, while acting as a liaison between various Company disciplines.

  1. Create, suggest and implement Change Management process plans that optimize usage and support on-going business needs.
  2. Act as coordinator between multiple disciplines to ensure alignment with overall goals of Change Management Process. Provide guidance to cross-functional teams, and facilitate team meetings, including scrutinizing direction to maximize benefit of team.
  3. Prioritize and manage progress of projects through the workflow. Serve as point of contact on various Change Management projects, and take steps to ensure projects are launched per highest set priorities. Manage action items to keep projects moving, develop and control deadline activities, and ensure issues are resolved.
  4. Help drive system and process improvements.   Assess Change Management Process performance, and identify potential pitfalls/risks and areas of improvement. Facilitate, troubleshoot and solve problems associated with the program.
  5. Work with sales teams to develop project direction for OEM planning process.
  6. Manage the day-to-day detailed aspects of multiple activities, including user training and administration of the Change Management Process.
  7. Maintain CMP Team meeting minutes, RAIL and Project Priority List.
  8. Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

Education:    

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in project and/or program management

Experience:  

3+ years of experience in program management, project management, administration or related field preferred

Communication:

Excellent communication skills to positively influence others, including outside contacts and multiple levels of the organization

Willingness and ability to listen

Administration:

Proficient computer skills, including MS Office

Comfortable working with numbers, metrics and spreadsheets - thoroughness

Attention to detail to recognize errors or inconsistencies

Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively

Goal-oriented – Strong organization skills

Interpersonal Relations:

A collaborative team approach to work
